Vieux Carré

1. 0.75 ozRye whiskey
2. 0.75 ozCognac
3. 0.75 ozSweet vermouth
4. 1 bar spoonBénédictine
5. 1 dashPeychaud's bitters
6. 1 dashAngostura bitters

Method

   Combine all ingredients except the garnish in a mixing glass with ice.

   Stir until well chilled.

   Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.

   Garnish with a lemon twist.
